Simone Biles’ best friend is Jordyn Wieber, a former artistic gymnast and Olympic medalist. Wieber and Biles have been friends since they were young gymnasts, and they have supported each other through their careers.
Wieber was a member of the gold-medal winning U.S. team at the 2012 Summer Olympics, and she also won an individual silver medal on the floor exercise. After retiring from gymnastics in 2014, Wieber became a college gymnast at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She graduated from UCLA in 2018 with a degree in sociology. Wieber is now a gymnastics coach and choreographer.
